The Virtual EuroCup is the second highest competition on NBA2K24 in Europe for 1v1 MyLeague mode.
PlayOffs, Relegation and PlayDowns expla
Right now, 36 teams fight for the crown and the direct Euroleague ticket.
Via the "Overtime Hk Cup" also the best EuroCup team (farest reaching in the cup competition), that is also not the EuroCup winner at the same time, will get a Cup wildcard into next season's Euroleague.
In case of 2 or more teams being eliminated in the same Cup round and eligable to get this wildcard via the cup, they would have to play it out in a wildcard tournament.
So a minimum of two season 2 EuroCup gamers will make it to the Euroleague (there can be even more wildcards as the league administrators will handout after all other spots are clear).
PlayOff Format:
The top 8 teams of both groups not only secure at least an EuroCup ticket for season 2, but will also fight for the EuroCup title and direct promotion to Euroleague.
As like per reallife, Top 16 and Top 8 is only single-game knock-outs format and the Semifinals and Finals series are all best-of-three.
The Top16 round is directly cross-group as each 1st seed meets 8th seed of the other group, 2nd vs 7th, 3rd vs 6th and 4th vs 5th.
