Georgi Yamboliev and Martin Ivanov clashed in a decisive Wildcard game for a EuroCup spot 4 days ago, with a better ending for Georgi Yamboliev. As both are from Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, they managed to meet to play their game offline.

Martin Ivanov recovered from his wrong step and booked the last wildcard ticket per the Lucky Loser final vs Julius Klein from Germany.

The two Bulgarians have not much of experience in 2K PS5, although Yamboliev has played 2K couple of years but had a short break of the game after having some experienced on 2K on old gen/PC versions. Ivanov on the other hand plays just since around 3-4 months, but has a huge talent for videogames and learns and adaptes very fast as he also learned a lot about basketball itself due to the 2K game.

Both do not have any relation to basketball according playing in real-life.

Travis Zumstein on the other hand is not the first US-American gamer to participate, neither the first outside of Europe, but the first gamer, to also be located in the United States.

The timezone difference is huge, but same as Liaqat Ali, who is located in HongKong and Ismail Bedirhan, also complete newcomer with Turkish roots and Australian citizenship, as well as Aleksandar Gavalyugov also being based in Australia, they manage to find and arrange the right times with their opponents and all enjoy their Virtual Euroleague or EuroCup stints, respectively.

There are some more newcomers to the Club competitions like Giannis Moscholios or Jeremy Irvin Atienza, who both participated in the FIBA eWorldCup and they met in the EuroLeague wildcard tournament final, with the better ending for Atienza, who will participate with ALBA Berlin in the Euroleague, Moscholios with Aris in the EuroCup on the other hand.
