After recent events, one of the smallest countries in Europe, San Marino, has been left with one gamer participating in the highest levels of 1v1 league in Europe: Fiorenzo Marani, who is also the champion of last season´s Virtual EuroCup with Umana Reyer Venezia.
This accomplishment was prestigous for San Marino, but not the recent events with Giuseppe Taddei.

The former Sampdoria Genoa eSports Player has been kicked out of the league due to reportedly and repeatedly bad behaviour towards league`s administration and opponents after frustrated losses and disconnection issues with his own internet connection.
The most recent was after following chat:
League administrator Viktor Vladov had to check on Giuseppe Taddei, as he repeatedly postponed match vs Anorthosis Famagusta (Zayd Muosa) and was pushing for force wins versus various weekly matchup opponents, although he has been the one not informing his opponents and expecting them to be able whenever he is.
Zayd Muosa contacted the admins after Taddei did not show up to a scheduled and agreed game time, so Viktor Vladov forwarded the messages between him and Muosa to Taddei, to double check:
[13:17, 29.4.2024] Vik (Virtual Euroleague): [29.4., 1:11 PM] Zayd Muosa: Pesaro not responding
[29.4., 1:17 PM] Vik (Virtual Euroleague): Let me check
But the answer was an repeated unrespectful, unsportsmenlike comment and behaviour:
[14:26, 3.5.2024] Giuseppe Taddei: "ridiculous, go f[...} yourself."
Giuseppe Taddei has been banned out of the League Organization.
It is not the first time Taddei has been kicked out of a eSports organization, his professional eSports contract with Sampdoria Genoa has also been opted out by the Italian club.
Now he was representing Pesaro till now, but has been kicked out once again.
"We can not afford such unprofessional behaviour and insult towards and opponents and our league organization itself. So we had to act quickly and not tolerate this at all.", was the statement of the majority of the league´s administration.
