Final decision: Admins' congress decides about the future format

After a lot of rumours, speculations and even the suggestion to completely reform the Virtual Euroleague and expand to 30 gamers with fully fantasy Draft, the admins congress decided:

EUROLEAGUE

• The format remains the same, as it will be with 18 teams/gamers as per reallife

• PlayIn and PlayOffs remain as per real-life as well

• Top 10 (at least PlayIn), guarantee the ticket for EL also for the next season

• The best EL gamer in the Cup, that has not a guaranteed spot (as being in top10), gets a Cup wildcard and guarantees the 11th spot in EL (if 2 or more teams are in the same round, they will play it out in a wildcard tournament)

• The EuroCup winner has a guaranteed spot in the EL as well (12 th spot)

• The best EuroCup gamer in the Cup, (without the EuroCup winner), gets a guaranteed Cup wildcard into the EL as well (again if 2 or more teams are eliminated in the same round, they have to play it out in a wildcard tournament, which would be the 13th spot)

• The remaining 5 spots will be handed out per wildcards (14-18th spots) to active gamers, who show the full passion to the league and will be voted by the Administrators (reallife pros, prominent people have a bonus here) - wildcards can also be suggested to be bought out

EUROCUP:

• The EuroCup winner gets a guaranteed EL ticket

• The best EuroCup gamer in the Cup gets also a guaranteed EL spot (if 2 or more teams are eliminated in the same round, they will play the wildcard out, at the end of the season)

• All others have the chance to apply for one of the 5 extra wildcards

• Best 8 of each group have at least guaranteed EuroCup spot for the season after (16 spots)

• 14th placed and lower in both groups get directly relegated down to "Fantasy League" (3rd division)

• Place 9-13th of each group get seeded in a 10 team playdowns to determine the last 4 standing for the last 4 spots in the EuroCup for the following season. They will be seeded as per their record in regular season from 1-10, seeded 7-10 will play in a playin format to join the other 6 in the last Playdown Round

Fantasy League/3rd league:

• Yes a Fantasy League is coming for everyone who wants in (also EL/ECup gamers)

• Fantasy draft pool of Euroleague/EuroCup players only

• Mandatory for all gamers who got relegated out of the EuroCup, in order to stay in the league/organization

• Those who do not have a team in EL/ECup will play out the best of them, and he will get a guaranteed EuroCup spot

• For EL/Ecup gamers who compete in here as well it counts as second team and they are not eligible to move up to EuroCup

OVERTIME HK INSEASON CUP:

• If 2 teams who are drawn in the cup, play in the same respective league and meet in the exact same matchup (home teams, hosting) as per the draw, the match counts into league AND Cup like in NBA inseason tournament

• If it is drawn between 2 different Eurocup groups or EL vs EuroCup, than match only taken into count for the Cup

• Best EuroCup gamer, without the EuroCup winner, gains EL ticket (if 2 or more gamers eligable are eliminated in the same round, then they have to play it out in a wildcard tournament)
