Zalgiris & Martynas Valaitis with the Nr.1 seed into the vEL Playoffs!

With this win against EuroLeague veteran and legend Bryant Dunston and his reallife team Virtus Bologna, lithuanian side Zalgiris with lithuanian gamer Martynas Valaitis secured the number 1 seed for the 2K24 Virtual Euroleague Playoffs!

With a 13-4 record, which only can reached by Crvena Zvezda and serbian eNational team captain of Serbia, Luka Vujasinovic, it is impossible to get down from the number 1 seed.

The reason for that is, that the head-to-head game would count between them, if Red Star gets into the same record as for tiebreaker.

Zalgiris won the head-to-head 87:83 and is waiting for the Play-Ins to get to know their best of 5 series opponent in the Quarterfinals, as they will meet the 8th seed.

"It was a very tuff game", said Valaitis after his clash vs Virtus and Bryant Dunston.

On the other hand we will have max. 1 reallife Euroleague pro in the Playoffs, this season, as only Jaleen Smith (Partizan) has a possible chance. Bryant Dunston (Virtus), but also NBA player Sasha Vezenkov (controlling Olympiacos and last season's 3rd in the Virtual Euroleague) could not make it into the Playoff or PlayIn spots.
