Season 2 format changes explained. Huge qualifying system between EL/ECup

Season 2 officially started in EuroCup.

Euroleague tips off in season 2 tonight as well, as Jaleen with Partizan meets ALBA Berlin and EL debutant Jonas Koitka.

Euroleague:

• 34 games (twice vs each team)

• Top 6 direct in Quarterfinals, which are best of 5 as per like in reallife

• Play Ins a bit different: 7 vs 10, 8 vs 9 in one game series

• Final 4 as usual

• Last placed moves down directly, no teams save from relegation, if a Reallife Pros moves down, he keeps his EL team for EuroCup

• Second last plays 2nd in EuroCup

BUT, AND THAT'S NEW, IF THE 2ND OF EUROCUP WINS THIS DO OR DIE,

THE 3RD OF EUROCUP WILL GET ALSO A DO OR DIE VS 3RD LAST OF EUROLEAGUE,

AND SO ON TILL THE EUROLEAGUE TEAM WINS! THAN QUALIFIERS ARE CLOSED, SO WE HAVE MORE EXCITEMENT!

But this can get maximum to non EL PLAYOFF SPOTS, so also maximum to EuroCup 10th spot (for EuroCup if lost in same round - the better regular season place, than record would count as tiebreaker).

• 34 games regular season

• Top 8 of each group advance, cross-group playoffs (A1 vs B8, A2 vs B7 etc)

• Best of 1 games, do or dies

• Best of 3 in Semis and Finals
