The season 1 Virtual Euroleague 2K24 officially started and with a small surprise right at the start.
In his first ever Virtual Euroleague appearance, the Filipino gamer Jeremy Irvin Atienza beats with his team ALBA Berlin the experienced gamer of Partizan esports Gaming Team, Žarko Avramović, who was at the edge of making the Final Four last year (2-3 series loss vs OLY of Sasha Vezenkov).
With a statement win with double digits (80-65), Jeremy shows that he will not "just be there" in the EuroLeague, with the lowest rated team, but he also wants to stay in the top league. Now ALBA clearly has to be found on everyones notes.
